Master in Advanced Clinical Osteopathy
The most advanced level of the European Clinical Osteopathy Program

Master in Advanced Clinical Osteopathy
Phase 3 represents the most advanced level of the ISOM pathway and is dedicated to professionals who wish to develop specialist clinical skills, with a focus on the management of complex patients, the integration of different body systems, and the evolution of clinical reasoning.

What is Phase 3
Phase 3 is ISOM’s advanced specialization pathway. It is accessible exclusively after completing the European Diploma in Clinical Osteopathy and is designed to take the professional beyond a technical approach, toward a more mature, integrated, and highly qualified clinical perspective.

What it includes
Phase 3 is structured into 6 specialization modules, focused on advanced areas of osteopathic practice: radicular pain, vertigo and neurofunctional disorders, chronic pain, sports osteopathy, advanced fascial integration, and the management of complex clinical cases.

Goal of the phase
The goal of Phase 3 is to refine the therapeutic approach, deepen specialized areas of osteopathy, and develop a higher level of clinical autonomy. In this phase, the professional strengthens the ability to assess multifactorial conditions, select the most effective strategies, and operate with greater confidence in complex cases.

Why it is the most advanced phase
This phase allows for the consolidation of a highly qualified professional profile, capable of working with a more global and integrated view of the patient. It does not simply add new content: it elevates the level of competence, decision-making, and clinical management skills.
Access to the program
Access to the Advanced Master is reserved exclusively for students who have completed the European Diploma in Clinical Osteopathy, ensuring a solid clinical foundation on which to build a high-level osteopathic specialization pathway.

Phase 3 is designed for professionals who want to go beyond a technical approach and build a more advanced, specialized, and comprehensive clinical competence.

Discover the Modules
The in-person modules are designed to guide students through progressive growth, combining theory, practice, and clinical insight. Each module delves into a specific area of osteopathy, allowing them to develop increasingly solid, integrated, and applicable skills in real-world patient care.
Radicular Pain, Sciatica, and Complex Disc Syndromes
This module delves into the advanced management of radicular pain and complex disc syndromes, focusing on sciatica, radiculopathy, and neuropathic pain.
The student develops a more advanced clinical evaluation, learning to better read persistent or multifactorial pictures and to select the most appropriate therapeutic strategies in complex cases.

Module Objective : To develop advanced skills in the osteopathic assessment and management of radicular pain and complex disc syndromes.

MODULE 11

Complex Vertigo and Neurofunctional Disorders

MODULE 12
This module is dedicated to the advanced management of balance disorders, with particular attention to complex vertigo and the relationships between the vestibular, cervical, and cranial systems.
The process helps build a more integrated understanding of recurrent cases, improving clinical reasoning and selecting the most effective approach.

Module objective : to integrate the vestibular system, cervical spine, and cranial system in the advanced osteopathic management of vertigo and neurofunctional disorders.
Chronic Pain and Central Sensitization
This module explores the advanced approach to persistent pain, focusing on the mechanisms of chronic pain and central sensitization.
The student learns to better recognize complex conditions and to integrate more advanced therapeutic strategies, going beyond the purely mechanical reading of the symptom.

Module objective : to understand the main mechanisms of chronic pain and integrate a more advanced osteopathic approach into the management of persistent and complex patients.

MODULE 13

Sports Injuries, Functional Recovery, and Performance

MODULE 14
This module focuses on athlete management, from injury prevention to functional recovery, up to the analysis of sports movement biomechanics.
The professional develops a more comprehensive view of treatment in the sports field, improving the ability to manage complex injuries and support return to performance.
Module objective: to develop advanced skills in the osteopathic management of athletes, integrating prevention, functional recovery, and analysis of sports movement.
Advanced Fascial Integration and Global Connections
This module represents the evolution of the fascial approach, oriented towards the management of complex conditions and the global integration of body systems.
Through the study of myofascial chains and their connections, the student develops a broader and more refined vision of osteopathic treatment, useful for patients with multifactorial dysfunctions.

Module objective : to deepen advanced fascial integration to improve the overall understanding of the patient and the treatment of complex clinical conditions.

MODULE 15

Complex Clinical Case Management and Decision Making

MODULE 16
This final module is dedicated to integrating the skills developed during the Advanced path.
Through the analysis and treatment of real cases, students strengthen clinical autonomy, decision-making skills, and the construction of coherent, effective, and personalized therapeutic strategies.
It is the module that transforms advanced skills into mature clinical reasoning.

Module objective : to develop autonomy in the management of complex clinical cases through a more structured, integrated and professional decision-making process.
